Synopsis

"Somebody Up There Hates Us!" Captain Atom attends the small funeral service for Arthur Lennox. He is still perplexed over the strange mass hypnosis that led to a public riot of the JLE embassy. Returning to the embassy, he finds that the Elongated Man's wife, Sue Dibny, has taken a shine to the embassy's computer systems, and elects to stay on board for permanent monitor duty. Captain Atom has her cross-reference existing Neo-Nazi organizations and Sue comes up with three viable locations. The JLE split up into teams to investigate each of the sites to see if there is a connection to Arthur Lennox. Captain Atom and Animal Man fly to California where they find the ruins of an Aryan compound. They encounter the Wild Huntsman, late of the Global Guardians, who is convinced that the two heroes are actually Nazis. A fight ensues, but ultimately Captain Atom and Animal Man defeat him. Power Girl and Rocket Red fly to Frankfurt, Germany where they discover an old Nazi stronghold going up in flames. The man responsible for the conflagration is Rising Sun, also a former member of the Global Guardians. Rising Sun emits a giant flare that confounds Rocket Red's sensors, but Power Girl plows into him, knocking him out. Meanwhile, Flash, the Elongated Man and Metamorpho sail the English Channel. The Global Guardian Tuatara climbs aboard and begins fighting them. Metamorpho tries to envelope him, but Tuatara kicks him over the rail into the sea. Elongated Man and Flash dive after him, but Tuatara has an advantage in the water and nearly defeats all three of them. Elongated Man finally subdues Tuatara by wrapping himself around his body, at which point, their assailant passes out. Elsewhere, Jack O'Lantern monitors the individual fights and plots his next move.
